FYI:

Carl's Jr is not a burger clone, timeline: 1940 McDonald's, 1941 Carl’s Jr. then way later, 1953 Burger King (our HJ’s).
Carl's Jr burgers are 'chargrilled', unlike HJ's 'flamegrilled'.
The burgers are BETTER at Carl's. Try the Angus burger range and taste for yourself.

  I find it very hard to believe you are not affiliated with Carl's Jr seeing your last 17 listed deals are.. Carl's Jr. I could not imagine anybody going to such lengths for a very mediocre fast food chain.

      I thought Carls Jr is the better version of Hungry Jacks, especially now that HJ has gotten more expensive.

  Can't trust these guys with take away/ drive through. Need to eat at it there and return if (likely) substandard

  If your local one is good, then no need to worry. Wish they were more consistent.

  Serious question, has anyone had a positive experience with this mob? I've given them two goes, both awful in every way from service to food quality. Anecdotally they have to be the worst fast food place around

    I have, three times.

    The last time, due to them not having an fb posted deal on their system, they sold me just the onion rings for half price (instead of having to purchase a set meal to acces the discount). So that is a positive for me.

    yep, every time (maybe 5?) I've gone it's been great, admitedly i've always gone to the same one. It's defs become my go-to fast food place since it opened up not long ago near me. (williams landing) best burgers i've had from any fast food place (actual restruants are much better obviously), price is good, especially with some of their deals, like the tradie deal, and considering I think the burgers are slightly bigger as well. for $10 you can two tripple patty burgers, which is an excellent and filling meal compared to $10 at other places (tho I forget the name of this burger, see my last point)

    They honor the app deals even if the app is not working properly, unlike maccas and other places, where they have refused to honor it many times in the past for me. Good, quick service, clean dining area.

    Only things I don't like is their chips, but they do have a certain rustic character which I imagine some people would like. also their marketing/advertising/whatever its called sucks; ie. their menu (even on the app) has no prices on it, which is annoying, their naming of some (most) burgers I find confusing and hard to remember.

    perhaps this one is better because there's not many ppl around this area and so less customers means they can improve quality.

  I tried them out when they opened up in Mt Barker (SA). Tasted remarkably similar to HJ for me. I'll wait (I know I'll be waiting a long time) until international travel opens and I can goto Carls Jr in the US.

    Carl's Jr in the US is actually good, which is probably why I was so disappointed when they didn't match the expectation opening up here

  I tried the Carl's Jr at Bateau Bay twice and both times the beef burgers were super dry as well as the chicken tenders. Hard to go back.

  Do not buy from Carls Jr. Burgers are cold, taste like paper, your better off going with maccas or hungry jacks. - this comment is non biased and just straight facts. The food is crap.
