    Adobe. Free. Hahahaha.

Depends what functionality you're after. Generally speaking, you get what you pay for.

Splitting, merging, rotating etc. I've found PDFSam to be quite good.

  • Adobe Acrobat is a commercial product and you have to pay for it.
Adobe Acrobat Reader is a closed source free application that can read & print PDF files etc.

To edit PDF files you can try Libreoffice.

    Buy it.

      Technically an incorrect answer.

      • Depends on how you look at it. Once you've bought it, it's free to use…

Can use the free trial. Or if you have kids - some schools get free Adobe Creative Cloud (which you can use - noting that it is water marked so don't be using it for commercial purposes).

I remember the news article about ten years when it was cheaper to fly to the US and buy it there than to buy it locally.

message me, I'll just send it to you

  • You can try opening the PDF in word. It will convert it to a word document that you can change, then save again as a PDF. Works with text, but can be hit & miss with pictures or formatting.

  • Have you tried Napster? I think it allow you to download free stuff. Be quick before it gets taken down.

For the really old version of adobe acrobat, there once a time that it was free: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/90204

For the DC, 1) Check if your employer has an enterprise licence of Adobe Creative Cloud. 2) If you use linux, try the older version of Master PDF Editor. 3) Find the cracked version..

    • Yh am after dc for editing and all… Nd unfortunately I can’t have the employer access:(

      • Acrobat is for editing etc, DC is just the newer version.
