Credit to Price Hipster for the alert.

Sorry, this colour / size combination is not currently available.

Looks like it's already got OzBargained?

  • Coming up as $49.95 for me. (in S.A.)

    • Probably sold out. Same price for me but there's no add to basket button to actually make the purchase even if I wanted to pay that price.

    This price was before Amazon.
I was going to post it but then I realised if I did, people would go physically to the store then my order will say no stock for it to be picked.

I'll see myself out. Strike 1 to me.

    It is now $49.95

    • and not available online - no "add to cart" function

  • Best option is to call a store that has it in stock. I just purchased two at $16.95 and used my DJ card for free shipping.

Back in stock. Just ordered 3 for the free shipping as no stock in VIC. Will probably end up returning 2 of them when I get around to it.

    • My store pickup got cancelled, just did the same ordered 3.

Damn, got confirmation followed by ‘unable to complete order’ notification. Full refund initiated… DJ’s website is useless.

        • What? i must have ordered before you @ 10:59.
Just checked, they split my order, they shipped 2 and 1 is pending.

          • @kwetty: Yeah I ordered 15 mins later. But…

Just got an email like yours stating that it’s being fulfilled and split. WTF? The mystery continues… I’ve got half a mind to pursue the refund they emailed me after the goods arrive.

            • @JoeyJoeJoe: Their inventory system is hopeless. It is not always filled by the warehouse. It is sometimes filled by a store if they can’t find enough stock in the warehouse.

One time I ordered 10 items and 8 came from different locations around Australia.

I don’t think it is an efficient system or even cost effective bit it’s the way that they chose to work.

You can sorta see why the old department stores just have become dinosaurs.

Myer I think is the worst. They won’t even price match when an item is $1 below cost. But what they forget is that an item can end up staying on the shelf for weeks or months longer and will cost them more than the $1 they would lose. Had that issue recently with an electrical item. I then went to David Jones and they matched it after a few checks. Department stores just don’t understand the need to turnover goods due to the rapidly changing demands in consumer goods. An item can be hot one day but cold the next so it’s useless to hang onto stock nowadays.

  • Just bought a pack from Chatswood store for 16.95. They had about 6 more packs on the shelf. Lady serving me said wow, cheap, I might get a packet myself.
