Do these work with Google Assistant or Alexa??

    • Because they don't have wifi and you need to press a button then out of the box no it won't work.

Having said that there may be a way if you setup a device to push the button for you, do you have anything other than the Google Assistant or Alexa to tie it into? i.e homeassistant?

You would need something like this: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/164499776213 but this one does not mention google / alexa compatibility so you can either find one that does have this capacity or try and link it up another way. i.e home assistant.

Not everything is worth going to the effort of putting into your home automation, this looks like a case of just pressing the button is easier but if you need it on your alexa there will be a way.

  • Is there a similar single-tier version that can be used to raise just the keyboard and mouse?

I have a monitor arm that already can adjust the height of the monitor - so just wanting to adjust height of peripherals.

  • Would have loved this but my 49" monster is in the corner so using a square unit will not work :(

I got the BlitzWolf BW-ESD3 back in sep 2020. I didn't have much faith in it considering the same item was selling for 3-4 times the price locally - the electronic version that is. I took a gamble and have been pleasantly surprised at the:

    +overall weight carrying capacity
+stability due to the electric motor (as opposed to the wobble of a manual desk riser)

ever since I started using this, I've upgraded to a xiaomi 34 inch monitor and then upgraded the stand of the monitor to a north Bayou f80 monitor arm. The electric desk riser version takes this like a champ with little to no wobble. I even have some more notebooks(the hand writing kind) and two laptops sitting on the desk right now

–looks: IMO the desk risers sitting on top of a desk look ugly and this one with the blue rgb lighting and buttons to raise and lower the desk on the front look more ugly than a manual desk riser, this may or may not be an issue to you

  • unfortunately looks like its expired. Now gone up a little. Anyone else have any input as to whether this would be a goood investment? in the market for a standing desk.. reviews seem very reasonable

Very reputable on OzB. You can check all the other deals for this store that have been posted under "Related Stores" above the comments.

Thanks OP! Ummed and ahhed for a day and finally caved and got one. The code worked for me but it actually came up $10 more in AUD on PayPal for some reason so I bought it via Visa instead

  • I had my order for the BW-ESD3 cancelled, reason provided being:

"we are sorry that there is no suitable carrier to ship this order. So we have to cancel it"

Just a heads up if anyone else in Canberra was looking at buy.

  • Code doesn't seem to be working or at least on the ESD3
