This is a great opportunity to try this game out. Yes, Project Cars 2 is definitely an improvement but that does not mean Project Cars is not good.

  • Good deal. Game didn’t wow me, preferred assets corsa VR

  • every car racing game I've played in VR gave me immediate motion sickness. I've wasted a lot of money.

Does this happen to anyone else?

    • Theres a big difference between racing games and traditional VR games.
As for sickness I guess it depends on the person playing. I can do up to an hour before I feel like I need a break.
I have only played GTAV and Project Cars 2 in VR though so my experience isnt that great with racers in VR.

      • the problem I think is that to remain non sick, what you see has to match what you would feel if it were real. When you're in a car, you feel every turn, every jolt as you hit the throttle, you feel the deceleration as you brake, the rumble of your engine. You don't get that when you're in a seat inside your house. You turn the wheel and your view through the windscreen changes but you don't feel it, and your brain gets confused.

That's my guess as to what's causing it. There's a disconnect between what you're seeing and what you're feeling, and it's not in sync with what really happens when you drive.

Most driving games (not just cars but flight and hover vehicles also such as Wipeout) I can't handle more than 10 seconds of.
