Spotify discounts or family memberships?

Wondering if there's a cheaper way of getting spotify. Not a student and don't know anyone with free spots on their family plan. Is there any place with people with family memberships selling spots etc? Looked down the VPN route and that doesn't seem like an option either.

      If you can't find spots then starting one and asking for people to join can work too. Many people are lazy to start but keen to join.

    Why is the VPN route not an option? I found some random trial of a VPN and used paypal.

      Which cheaper country allows Paypal still or did you have an overseas paypal as well?

          Do you have a Philippines Spotify account? When i've tried, still gives me the payment country issue.

    If you are fine with Tidal (pretty similar to Spotify), currently there is a deal for 6 months of Tidal HiFi for free (users have reported it works even though the OP suggests it's only 3 months).
    It's really easy to transfer playlists from Spotify to Tidal and vice versa
