How to Turn Pool Pump off?

My swimming pool pump and chlorinator wont turn off , after I put it on manual mode for vacuum cleaning but now it’s not turning off!

the chlorinator is Astral and pump is Viron P600.

I did turn off the power but then the auto mode wont work.

EDIT: one more issue with the pool is the high Salt levels, I recently moved into this house and pool salt levels are 14000, not sure if this is related to the original question but thought of sharing it.

Have you you tried not paying the power bill?

  • Use the off switch on the left side of the right side.

    • Or is that the top side of the bottom side?

You need to reset the clock and the timers on the chlorinator so it knows when to automatically turn the pump on and off.

    • done that.

    • yup have read the manual twice!
first time pool user so maybe I am missing something!

  • The timer in our old controller died. The pool shop guy said to expensive to repair them, just plug in a timer.

Worked well like that for quite a while. Have since replaced the controller and has a new timer.

  • I have come to clean z pool

    • Sorry, too late. My step brother helped me after I got stuck in the fence.
