Terrible customer service from PoK if you (unfortunately) ever have to use it.

  • Is this essentially an air fryer? I’ve been trying to figure out what constitutes an ‘air fryer’ and all I seem to come up with is that they’re small convection ovens.
Would be nice to replace the microwave & air fryer with one appliance. I was considering the Combi Wave 3 in 1.

    • Not 100% true in terms of "air fryer" being a convection oven.
Air Fryer is a convection oven however they have a much stronger fan than a conventional convection oven, so it can move the air around.

      • Probably the fan forced setting perhaps?

I’m interested to replace the air fryer as well. Does the Combi Wave have good reviews? It’s currently 580.17 with the ebay plus code (the good guys).

      • I’ve gone through 2 in about a year. One stopped working after 10 months, the other after 2. Apparently it’s a common problem.

  • It looks like this one doesn't have inverter power control.

    • Which means?

      • It has what it calls 3D cooking technology, seems to be inverter renamed?

The postage kills the deal for me, if you put it on your eBay store and use eBay plus delivery I’ll buy one!

    Looks cool.

    Shipping to Perth is $90.

This oven came out in Australia 4/2018 with a $799RRP.

Not sure how reliable they are as Catch recently sold a batch of Refurbs
    https://www.catch.com.au/product/kitchenaid-bake-assist-micr…

Also no longer listed on the KitchenAid AU pages.

  • Looks pretty good - cheaper at this price than the (better) Samsung equivalent. Im not convinced anyone has paid $999 apparent RRP for this - see, eg, $580 from Good Guys delivered.

I would have probably bit the bullet and got this if shipping wasnt a genuinely ridiculous $118.

$1k if it was also made in the UK.

    Not if made in CHINA.

  • I know this is bigger.. however, is this 3 time better than the Kmart 3-in-one oven?

    https://www.kmart.com.au/product/3-in-1-air-fryer-oven/27548…

    • I’ve gone through 2 in a year. The second died after 2 months, apparently it’s a common problem. Sick of taking it back & would also like to combine the microwave with the AF if possible.

OP post this deal on your ebay store please 🙂

  • Hi OP: can you confirm dimensions of the actual unit?

which refers to L and W.. keen to know which is the depth from front to back and which is width in the perspective of looking at the unit from the front.

I have conflicting info from various articles and couldn't really estimate from any of the images that i can find. the 2 values are too close to guestimate.

    • You can see the specifications and user guide at: https://kitchenaid.co.nz/products/culinary-microwave-oven. I think it's the same one.

I just bought one 🤞. $50 TNT shipping to Gold Coast.

      • Hi

Are you able to provide feedback on the unit so far?

Also am still after the actual front dimensions if you have

        Thanks
