  LTSHIP = Late shipping

  These are sent out everytime one of your eBay plus items ( sent with express post) doesn't arrive by the estimated date.

  I've received approx 8 of them thus far. Virtually everything comes in a day late.

  No need to check accounts that haven't made any eBay plus purchases.

    I'm not an ebay plus member but still got a LTSHIP code from a recent purchase, that also wasn't sent (nor meant to be sent) express.

      Some further reading reveals this is part of eBay's "guaranteed delivery" listings. Whilst most of these listings are eBay plus items, as you've correctly noted not just eBay plus!
