          Was when I was there (in fairness Scotland) in 2017. Suited me fine. Tennets I recon was a few $ more, and horrible.

            @tunzafun001: Admittedly I haven't been since 2006 but I'd imagine something like fosters or special brew would be cheaper, that's what the homeless drink anyway lol or we used to drink white lightning cider when we were about 15 so it must have been cheap!

              @onetwothreefour: No fridges in Scottish hotels was an eye opener, absolute none anywhere… Until I realised hanging a six pack of Guiness out the window with a shopping bag works well. I recon they were the equivalent of AUD $0.75 per can as a six pack.

    Slightly better than usually catalogue specials however if you are willing to wait for the cash back then 30% @ BWS which stacks with items they have on regular catalogue and the $10 when you spend $30 cashback targetted is also better imo.

      for me i'd rather go with an upfront code than 'upsized' cashback promises which has a slim chance of tracking (at least for me).

        I mainly look at champagne or wine, already have to much beer that I don't drink.

        I can't even find any deals, even with the BWS 30% I'm struggling.

    Oh the frustration of dealing with Coles chat.

    I've done one order which worked fine.

    Then did another order which had TEDs in it. Order total $158. Added the code and suddenly the order total jumps to $177.20. And then gives me 20% off that. 25 minutes on chat and they can't understand what the issue is. FM.

    Thanks for that OP. I didn't even know that you could buy booze at coles online in SA. I bought 5 bottles of John Samson Scotch for $165. DRINKS20 saved me $33, also used 10OFF130 for another $10 off, and joined Coles Plus for one month at no cost for free delivery (I took the $11 delivery option LOL). I also had a Spend $100 at Coles for 4000 fly buys points offer. I'm quite happy with that!

      I took up the Coles + free delivery offer, and they charged me for delivery for my $110 order.

      Trying to explain this to the Coles online team is like eating a brick ….just more painful.

      So cancelled the next month auto payment, which explicitly says in my account Coles plus is still active for the remainder 30 days. Coles online say my Coles plus is cancelled.

      I can't believe how bad the Coles online experience is. Absolute embarrassment.

      *Edit - so my last order had some off meat, and apparently that applied a credit that brought my order under $100 threshold (which also means I don't get my 3200 FB points).

      Explained to them that is my own money being refunded (that I was nice enough to accept as a credit) and my order of $110….is $110).

      Man…i recon I could lodge an ACCC report once a week!
