  • How does this headset compare to say Arctis Pro Wireless or Audeze Penrose?

Looking for something with good sound quality compatible with both Xbox Series X and Ps5 to replace my G933's (nothing wrong, just wanted something with better sound quality, features and wireless if possible)

    • Good quality sound and wireless don't mix yet for gaming unfortunately, if you want convenience of wireless then just find ones that are comfy and battery lasts, sound quality wise you won't get any noticeable difference that is worth,$300

If you already have G933 i dont think you will see much improvement there:

botchie is spot on in terms of sound quality, this headset is decently comfy and great battery life, more importantly is that I already got logitech peripheral so just use the same g hub software for everything.

How are these for a big head and big ass elephant ears?

I saw some complaint about the ear touching the inside on reddit. I dont have any other headphone to compare to but it's fine for me.

it can stretch pretty large - I suggest get it from eb games directly and if it doesn't fit you, return it.

    • For truth though, the struggle is real. I am in the same boat. My ears measure 80mm long x 55mm wide (at the widest point at the top) and I have never been able to get a pair of comfy headphones. Bose QC35's are nearly big enough, as are Logitech G935s… but not quite.
The Sony Pulse 3D pair are just painful for me to use.
I went ahead and ordered a pair of Philips SHP9500 yesterday. When they arrived we'll see how they fit. The earcup size measures 80mm x 50mm so it might be ok.
I wish headphones were listed their earcup size prominently dispalyed in the product specs instead of having to trawl through the internet for any information at all.
The best info I found was in this article:

Struggle is too real. I’ve never measured my ears until just now and I’m about the same as you, but less wide. Agreed how good would it be if you can choose your cup size as you order.

Thanks for the article will give it a read! I’m in no rush for a pair at this time so will continue the never ending journey.

Hopefully you also find a comfortably fitting pair before you see an elephant fly!

I have a big head and elephant ears.

I have this headset and have worn it for gaming and when I work from home. For me, I would love if they extended just 1 notch bigger to make it really comfy, but at their biggest, my ears can get quite warm but not unbearable and they do touch a bit.. I have got used to it now but yeah if it could be one notch bigger my wearing experience would be 10/10.

The wireless range is really good. The Mic quality is good and has a few settings to change around. I am in discord a lot and as I said work from home and never had complaints. The sound quality is fine for pc use unless you are an audiophile.

As far as a wireless headset goes I would recommend it.
