We're going back to international travel? Last I saw ban looking at being pushed to 2022?

    When is international travel returning?

  • +4

In celebration of the upcoming return to international travel

There's still a horrible, dangerous virus circulating around most of the world, including some recent variants that are even more transmissible.
When do you think this 'return' is going to be and will you guarantee that you're sims won't expire before then?

  • Not happening I've got family that are still trying to get back from nz since January and there told again yesterday that canceled again till 2 April No one will be travelling till 2022 min.

When you try and create cash flow… 🤣

Damn I feel op. Times are tough. Good luck

Can be much cheaper if purchasing at the destination. Some do have eSim too, and even include call & text credits.

  • Lol do not see international travel starting till end of 2022. Probably why Coles and kmart have marked down there travel adapters

  • So we need to travel just to use your sims 😂🤔

This just screams scam and unless the rep can confirm I think they're just reselling esims at over inflated prices.

The Thailand esim sounds exactly like a resold version of this…
    https://www.airalo.com/thailand-esim/dtac-thailand-8days-unl…
Also happens to be 8 days for 15GB

However, it's US$9.90 which is $12.75 in AUD (rep is charging $19.95).

The Asia sim has the exact same countries and details as this product which is sold direct from AIS (a major Thailand based telco)
    https://esim2fly.com/product/ais-sim2fly-esim-asia-instant-d…

It's US$19 which is AU$24.47 (rep is charging $24.45) - probably got in and obtained some when the exchange rate was better.

The Global one also seems to be an AIS esim
    https://esim2fly.com/global-data-plan/

    It's US$37 which is AU$47.66 (rep is charging $48.95).

    • I think "Scam" is a bit harsh. I'll take convenience over saving a couple of dollars in this case.
Some people (like me) prefer to have their sim card in phone and ready to go when they land so they don't have pay inflated prices at the airport but can use the sim to order an Uber, Grab or just use maps without having to wait until you get somewhere cheaper.

      • I don't think you (or others who've downvoted me) understand the product here.

It's an esim that you download onto your phone. The reps store is literally reselling esims at inflated prices as an unofficial reseller.

You can buy the exact same product for cheaper, directly from the original carrier without anyone in the middle.

    • Not really scammer but more like a scalper.
