    I found Panadol Rapid/Optizorb seem to be more effective quickly. But that's just my experience…but it may just be the placebo effect.

      It actually dissolves faster in your stomach because of the added baking soda:

      Panadol Rapid contains sodium bicarbonate, enabling it to be absorbed twice as fast as regular Panadol Tablets.

    Mendeleev predicted existence of a number of chemical elements before they were discovered. He had no chance to predict his name to appear on a pack of Paracetamol.

    I just went to the Chemistewarehouse in ACT and guess what, Mendeleev Paracetamol has a very short expiry date: 10/2021, that is why it is so cheap, unless you are a big user.

        OMG! Me too. Went to two stores in Sydney for the Panamax? $2.49 one I usually get. All sold out.

        Then saw this one for 49c save $12.something and thought wow! I checked the expiry and it was 10/2021. I checked Panadol which was 10/2023 just for comparison.

        I guess these are cheap to shift them. What bugged me is the other cheap alternatives where sold out, our removed from sale….shifty…
