Just got an SMS from the Melbourne Demons inviting me to take up a free 3-game membership. I believe it can be used for home games at the MCG (possibly not for sellout games but uh… will any be selling out?)

The text message was targeted but it looks like anyone can submit the form at http://mfcde.es/3cCWXcy.

Paying it forward because I got my original free membership after seeing it on OzB!

          718,000 total attendance figures for 2019, middle of the range, and they won 5 games for the whole year.

          In 2017 when they actually won a few games and made finals, they were 6th in attendance across the whole league, and their first two home finals were 90K on their own. Was there, crowds both heavily weighted for the Dees. Those were heady days…

          if 2021 is anything like 2017-2018, should be good crowds no matter what

      Melbourne's crowds have actually been half decent lately. In 2019 they were 12th in the AFL for average home attendances, despite two of these games being in Northern Territory, and being the away team for it's traditionally highest drawing home games (Queens birthday v Collingwood, Anzac eve v Richmond).
