[eBay Plus] Merino Wool Quilts (Australian Made) from $45.05 Delivered @ Linen Dreams eBay

Original Coupon Deal

A very popular deal from last year is back on Australian Made Merino Woollen Quilts so I'm sure there will be plenty of people to provide feedback. If you buy multiple items you get 10% off the additional items so it works out cheaper than last years deal.

We have the 350g and 500g in king and think that they are superbly made. The 500g is perfect for Sydney winters and the 350g was ok for this summer as the temperatures weren't too high.

Australian Made Merino Woollen Quilts

Weight ratings: 200GSM, 350GSM, 500GSM and 700GSM (grams/square metre).

Sizes: Cot/Cotbed, Single, King Single, Double, Queen, King and Super King. Plus they now sell pillows so I've ordered a pair to try them out.

So a king 700GSM (their warmest) comes out at $86.70 delivered.

These are DRY-CLEAN ONLY. They do sell machine-washable quilts(ebay.com.au) where the Merino Wool goes through an additional process whereby the wool is pre-shrunk then coated in a light layer of resin to prevent shrinkage (so they're more expensive).

    These are DRY-CLEAN ONLY.

Might be cheaper to buy a new one…

  • We have bought it during the last sale 2-3 winters ago… They are very noisy when you turn around at night. Yes, noisy, make sound and wake people up.
So, we had to return it.

If you'd used it for a couple of days that would have stopped.

  • Well going by my purchase history, the only one I don't have is the 200GSM. :| The 700GSM is definitely too warm for most of Brisbane's winter except for those really cool one or two nights a year where it's really good. The 500 does the job in winter for me otherwise but is too warm for autumn or spring. Hence the 350, although the 200 may do that better to be honest.

I've had no problems with excessive noise. While I've only really got one other quilt recently to compare them with, they're certainly better quality than that and have done the job for me, so I've been happy with my purchases.

    • I suppose this is why they sell the 200+350GSM combo option - it's 2 quilts with some velcro so you can have 200, 350 or 550 (both together) for all seasons.

  • this also stacks with the store's own "10% when you buy more" (presumably saving them shipping costs), so if you buy 2 or more you'll get an extra discount.
