  Last time this was posted it was pointed out that the photos show two different hammocks - one with a single line supporting the fly net and one with a double line. Which one is it?

    I'd be more concerned with the suggestion for placidity and calm in the pre-emptive warranty response (1), but it looks like you can choose when you set it up (2).

  Be aware if you are sleeping in even mildly cold climates you need insulation under you like a hiking matress

    I use a cheap (~$10) KMart sleeping bag with paracord tied to the ends and sling it under the hammock so it's not compressed by my body. Compressed insulation doesn't work at all well. I love camping in my hammock (not one of these though, a Hennessy one).

      add a silver emergency blanket under the sleeping bag. big difference!

  What is the recommended column spacing - ie: range of span between columns (x.xxm to x.xxm)

    Fine for lazing about during the day, but mozzies etc. really mean the protection of a net at night is needed.
