    Errrr, pardon my ignorance but how does a 10kW inverter handle 13.3 kW?

      You can run up to 33% more KW in panels than the inverter rating. It's called oversizing Kind of like an overclock. This is why many 6.6KW packages have 5KW inverters.

    Hi. I can't seem to find your company Reliance Solar on the list of CEC accredited installers https://www.finder.com.au/accredited-solar-installers.

    Can you please clarify the point "Installation of system by CEC accredited electrician". Is it being subcontracted to another CEC accredited installer?

    Also what does "Qualified QCE Accredited Installer" mean? Which organisation is QCE?

      All most all cheap online solar retailer use sub contractors for there installs, and pay them peanuts for the install.
      These low margins attract only desperate installers who often new to the industry, they will rush the job as they are trying to do two installs every day to turn any profit and that's if they're your lucky if they know what they're doing.

      This also gives the solar retailer layer of protection if something goes wrong, as they blame the installer the installer blames the seller for selling the wrong products and the wrong install design.

      Leaving the customer often to find a local installer to fix the mess, at there own expense.

      Yes - we are not CEC retailer.

      We have only one installers who exclusively work for us, hence direct control over quality. They are CEC installers and master accredited electricians.

      Company need not be a CEC accredited. It's just misleading if someone say are CEC company. I opted out of that as I don't want pay annually $6k to just be a Cec Company AND put a logo " CEC certified retailer" . Of course, the installers are CEC installers else we can't apply for the rebate.

    Great deal. But keep in mind many energy retailers have a limit on FiT. For instance on AGL I am getting 17c kw/h for a system 10kw or less. If I went over 10kw it would be 8c.

    They define system as the total number of panels multiplied by the input. It is retarded but that is how they work it out.

    Paid about the same price for 9.9kw. I would have got 13.3kw if it wasn't for this limitation. Would have looked great on the roof.

    We got Reliance to do our installation, finished on Friday. Overall it took 1.5 days. Sud was great.
