Good price for a full sized (not mini) ambidextrous wired mouse. At 69g with a great shape, good cable and optical switches, this is a well regarded gaming mouse.

While not as comfy as the Deathadder for palm grip, this mouse shape is excellent for claw and fingertip grip. People with smaller hands may be able to palm it, but it's quite flat. For the lefties, there are side buttons on both sides - you people aren't left out!

Razer Optical Switches on the main buttons eliminates the possibility of double clicking issues that occur in many mechanical mice switches today. The click feel may not be as satisfying as your usual Logitech mice, however the peace of mind that clicks won't deteriorate is great to have.

  • 69g
  • Razer 5G optical sensor
  • Razer Optical Switches
  • Ambidextrous (side buttons on both sides!)
  • Speedflex cable
  • 100% PTFE Mouse Feet

  • Have this mouse myself, absolutely love it. Highly recommend. If anyone has questions on its use let me know.

    • How does the shape feel compared to a g102/g203/g305, if you've tried any of them?

      • Haven't tried any of those mice, sorry. I came from a G Pro Wireless and loved the shape of this a lot more if that helps. Have also tried the Model O and this felt better.

      • I have both, prefer the shape of the viper as it has a bit of a curve making the mouse feel narrower.

The egg shape of gpro makes it feel a bit awkward to hold as it doesn't fit my hand well

    • what are the optical switches like compared to normal mechanical ones

      • Haven't noticed a difference in speed personally. Unless you're an eSports pro I don't think it would make much difference. The clickiness is on point though, doesn't feel mushy at all.

      • i think the main draw of the optical switches is their reliability rather than improved clickiness or speed. they're supposed to be more resistant to the double clicking issues that all the logitech mice seem to have

        • +1

I agree, that's the main reason why i chose to buy this

    • Looks like it, that's a nice package for the price.

However, the main reason I prefer Amazon for electronics is for easy returns in case of defects.

  • At this price, you're better off with the updated 8000Hz version for an extra $20:
