What phone would stand up to this sort of thing? Most people use cases anyway.

It's actually very common to drop phones from that height, especially for tradies, painters and other workers at heights.

The rest of the damage he puts it through is just the normal stress test to get views, but the most important one which xiaomi fails is the drop test.

If I was painting and my phone dropped from the height of a ladder, well, that's $400* gone.

*Increased price; thought it was cheaper…. Sadly, it isn't.

LOL… Like a cut price copy of JerryRigEverything…

  • It wasn't advertised as completely waterproof (only IP53, dust and splash protection) or having rugged capabilities so I'm not sure what's the point of the video.

Most phones dont bend like that, not even the cheap Poco X3

So dont sit on your phone :P

      • Bumma, I was hoping of using my Poco X3 as a cushion.
Seriously tho, I thought it held up alright for a cheap phone. The only bit of that video I thought "thats a little cheap" was how easy the volume rocker came off.
The note weighs 178.8 grams and the poco 215, so Id expect it to be a bit sturdier. Id give up some strength on the poco for it to weigh less. The weight of the poco is the only thing I dont like about it, its heavy enough to notice. Im totally use to it now for phone calls and what not but when I add it to my xbox controller with the clip you really have to rest it on your lap if your going to use it for a while. And this is a shame coz I LOVE playing PSP games on it.

        • Well when you get tired, dont forget to put your phone in safe place heh

      • I remember when iphones used to bend. Didn't stop people buying them.

        • Well Apple Cultists are hard to change heh
