      Multigroom 5000/7000 if you're going beard trim or don't mind having ever so short stubble full-face.
      Merkur makes some gorgeous safety razors if you're going clean shave, but still need something somewhat quick. I use Feather blades and a self-foaming antibacterial/sensitive shave gel.

    The Philips shavers of 15 years ago bear little resemblance to today's. Build quality is mass production and cheap parts today vs quality and customer service in the past.

      Agreed. Braun is much better than Philips these days. I changed as a consequence.
