    I'd say it was worth the reassurance that you'll be covered by Amazon if something went wrong with the delivery.

    Personal experience disclaimer: If the AusPost driver decides to not deliver your package from these guys but claim it was delivered, then you'll go through a he/she said, they said investigation. Then at the end of the day, you don't get your package and you don't get your money back.

    Personal lesson learnt: When there is an identical product at similar pricing, it's safer to go with Amazon for customer service and protections.

  Are these imports or local stock? Got cards from em before and they were all imports. Would rather spend that the few dollars extra to get local stock. Having the AU logo tripped me up.

    All flash memory is imported, there's no chip fabs in Australia except for low-volume experimental stuff.

      Warranty might be a tricky one as these are foreign models - had japanese/korean/chinese printed all over it. Rather, if you get real local stock it has english packaging and au warranty on the back

  i bought one from a different place yesterday and when i plugged it in with the adapter is said " this disk needs to be formatted before you can use it " so i went to format and it said format could not be completed. can anybody help me here? did i just get a dud sd card?

      When I go to for format screen the space available is 15mb. I got it from amazonAU but it was a 3rd party seller. Guess you are right.
