Alright - call me stupid but I have no idea what the go is with this dash cam.
It's an upgraded rear view mirror with a built in dash cam. The only problem is there seems to be no slot for any kind of SD card etc. I've tried playing with the settings but there's no clear indicator as to loop recording etc.
Anyone have any idea what make/model this is?
Those icons look like the ones on my dashcam but unfortunately the make/model escapes me
Then again maybe heaps of dashcams use the same software.
I would take if down and see if there are any model info any where. Also if it looks like the camera and cables are factory installed check the car manufacturers website for an option like this.
If when you have it off there is no camera facing forward then it is NOT a dash cam, but just a reverse camera.
Maybe in the top of it?
Thanks for the replies, some dude actually managed to figure this out in like 2 mins! It's a RVM430WFDVRBTG R-view mirror monitor.
Actually has a lot more functionality than I thought after figuring this out! Just doesn't make sense why there is no model number, serial, brand or anything to identify this kind of crap.
Is it the one where the picture only appears when you are in reverse? I have a similar one in my RAV4, could be just a reverse camera which doesn't record.
