I recommend this to someone and It didn't last that long. Although he was a careful person. That was the last time I recommend something to him.

    • sorry for that. Has he tried to contact with our after-sale team? We can send him a new one for replacement.

      • He bought from a website that used to sell grey import products. It was well known but they stopped selling in Australia and we couldn't access the website anymore. Maybe that's why it didn't last. I don't think that was totally genuine at the first place. I think it was called digital camera world or something like this.

        • tomtop?

In any case, you have consumer rights protections. Your credit card company or paypal will cover you against dodgy sellers who refuse warranty.

This is an older recommendation, and the IEM world has well and truly moved on.

Around this price range, look at the BLON BL03, BLON BL05S, Moondrop Starfield, Etymotic ER2XR, Tin T2 Plus, and the Samsung Galaxy Buds (or Buds+).

All of them are either outright superior, or at least offer a much better sound signature.

    • Not a big fan of these 1mores but BLON 03 is definitely not better. I'd say it's about the same quality (IMO) And they are impossible to wear. I'm not very choosy but BLON were the most uncomfortable headphones to me among hundreds I used. Personal stuff but just a precaution for someone who decides to follow OZB advice as I did.

    • Not sure I'd put the Moondrop Starfield in "this price range", although I've heard good things.

The KZ range is also decent, I've got a set of KZ ZS10 Pro's that I purchased specifically for use with a Roland TD17 electronic drumkit and they sound fantastic.

Mine was $120 after cashbacks and coupons, and I'd imagine it's a tiny bit cheaper since then. Etymotic ER2XR is $110-$120, so you'll have to drop that too.

I've lost all faith in BA-based IEMs until you hit proper mid-fi price points.

        • $120 is decent, where from though? Cheapest I've seen is around the $160 mark which is double the OP product.

          • @Singu1arity: AliE sale discounts (like the one coming up) + coupon (should be about $12-$20) + cashback via ShopBack or CashRewards. During a sale the cashback is typically 10-15% for 2-24 hours.

This applies to the BLON and Tin IEMs as well. There may be pre-sale cashback boosts or site coupons as well, but they're typically only good for purchases under $100, usually under $50.

            • @jasswolf: i don't think it's fair to compare a $79 product from a local seller against aliexpress + cashback prices.

              • @lostn: They're both ChiFi, and this is the Amazon version of their AliE store: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32836893176.html

These newer Chinese-based storefronts are basically exactly the same deals, give or take a few dollars from a coupon and different cashback deals.

                • @jasswolf: Free Shipping
to Australia via AliExpress Standard Shipping
                  Estimated Delivery on Apr 21

That and Amazon is faster to deal with in after sales support, and won't ask you to provide photo evidence of audio problems. Amazon won't deal with shit like that. You request a return and you get it, free postage.

You can compare their prices if they're both local stock and both on Amazon, otherwise it's not a fair comparison.

                  • @lostn: Ah yup, I'll just order on Amazon now and get it delivered with Prime tomorrow. Sure sure, those times are accurate and reflective of stock location.

Either way, this product is about 4 years old, and you shouldn't be buying it anyway. Everything I've suggested is in the range of $30-$120 and is better.

If you want to fiddle around with arguing price parity should account for the marketplace or platform, just buy a cheaper product for more money, thus wasting your money and no more of my time!

                    • @jasswolf: Aliexpress stock from the link you sent is shipped from China. It's no secret that takes weeks if not months.

The store rep's stock is AU based with AU warranty.

Either way, this product is about 4 years old, and you shouldn't be buying it anyway.

Do you change everything every year or two because it's not's brand spanking new? My Sennheiser HD600 was released in 1997 and it's still damn good.

Everything I've suggested is in the range of $30-$120 and is better.

                      Including the Buds+?

      • Thoughts on KZ AS06? (currently own and I quite enjoy them). Any suggestions for an upgrade? Listening to grunge, rock, hip hop and love details

    • why would you recommend Buds+ which are a different class of product? These are wired IEMs.

Why anyone who cares about audio would listen to wireless buds is beyond me. Those are things I would only use out of necessity. At home where I have choices? No way.

      • Because not all products are created equally, and Samsung's codec support is solid. It's a good quality IEM in its own right.

        • I have the original buds. They are shithouse. Especially the call quality. It cuts out a lot. Nothing beats wires.

I don't know how much better Buds+ and Buds Pro/Live are, but they're not $79 and still need to be charged after a few hours.

          • @lostn: I was never making any claims about microphone quality. Samsung buds on the soft EQ setting are well regarded.

    That’s a good price.

Can’t talk about this particular earphones as I haven’t tried these, but I bought the 1more quad driver earphones and I love them. Superb build quality and excellent sound.

From reviews it seems this triple driver is very close to quad driver in terms of sound.

    • I have those too, except they cost me about $200. They're great sounding but I will feel it in my ears after a while. There's not enough padding on the ear gels.

      • It costed me a little less though.

I think finding the right silicon tip would reduce ear discomfort. I used to have a little discomfort initially, but after using the right size silicon tip I can listen to the music for longer time without issues.

  • Had one and it sounded good, though I'm no audiophile.

The thing is, it only lasted me around half a year before the cable broke. Granted you might take better care of it than I did..

  • The sound quality on these is good for the price but the build quality isn't the best. The bud things tend to fall off I find.

  • +1

Just buy kz zs10 pros. Cheaper and better

  • Thanks for all the voices. We have read all the comments. Personally i think that headphones are not absolutely objective. Everyone’s ears/ taste of music are different. Even the same audio curve, we can feel different. There is a large quantity of good headphones, but no best headphones, only the headphones that suits you best.
In terms of materials and manufacturing processes i'd like to say that triple driver is a good headphones worth the price…

  • Besides, we are going to release a new model headphones next Month in Australia. We plan to invite 10 testers to help test this product before its offical release. Only for Australia
