wired is better imo. If you want wireless I wouldn't spend more than $150 on a pair. They don't last forever and they will sound worse than wired iems most of the time.

Yes. I have tested various earbuds. Those reviews are for pairs at launch (close to $1k). When they are sold for $300, story is different.

  • Thanks OP - got a pair; waiting for these to drop below $300!

Have a pair of pi5 s2 and wanted to upgrade.

For anyone unsure these are wireless earbuds designed for music. They’re fantastic for it (although not as good as wired ones)

    • There is no match with wired/wireless due to limitation of data rate.

Similarly, a CD will almost always sound better than streaming - getting better with lossless.

  • Bought.

Praying they sound better than my $40 Yamaha TW-E5B and $100 Creative Aurvana Ace 2. Still looking for a deal on the Technics AZ100.

The audio retransmission feature sounds cool.

    • I am looking at the AZ100 too. But don't use them often enough for $600. My actual headphones pumps out better sound anyway.
