$12.99 shipping, you should add this to the title.

    • Cant fit the text in, Added that info to the description. Thanks for suggestion. cheers

      • remove the "Incl GST" and then you can fit the shipping cost into the title as +$12.95… "Incl. GST" is not necessary as you're obliged to include GST anyway, it's assumed.

  • dunno whether this is a bargain or not, but from what i understand, the MIPS processor means that many android apps wont install on this? Perhaps someone who is more knowledgeable can confirm this

    • I..Don't Know…

    • Most Android apps run in a virtual machine, so it shouldn't matter what the processor is, indeed MIPS devices have been certified as Android compatible. Android 2.3 added NDK which allows some parts of programs to be run as native code, I am not sure whether these apps can be run on this device, though anything that runs on Android 2.2 or earlier (as well as the vast majority of later apps) should run fine.

    • i would wait till after the CES, withthe demoes of the tegra-3 tablets and release dates. That should put the pressure on to sell the "old" tegra-2 tablets at dumping prices.
Also there are a few minus points here:
      RAM: 512MB
      Shell Material: Plastic
      GPS: No
Extend Card: Support TF card up to 16GB (NOT 32GB)
      Bluetooth: No
I prefer to pay more for quality tablet, with tegra-2, 1GB mem, 16-32GB built in, ext 32GB, with GPS and Bluetooth.

yeha i have an 'ainal tablet'

      ok thanks

  • This is a $99 tablet and many Chinese sites sell it for $109. $179 is way too much for what it is.

  • I thought this was going to be the Advanced or the Elf Version of this tablet if you were going to charge this much… this isn't a deal.

Edit: Even worse! This is the Paladin which is the lowest version and it can be found in many places for $99

    • I think for $99 this would be excellent, that's what I paid for the MyTab & this has pretty good specs.

  • Here it is for $110 with free shipping - http://www.pandawill.com/ainol-novo7-paladin-first-android-4…

    • i think you are winning atm

  • Wow…just wow….

Slightly off topic, but the name just made me laugh… though what made me roll around on the ground in histerics was visiting the actual ainol site.

The catch phrase at the top of their site reads "enjoy life, enjoy ainol"…. i just cant stop laughing at that.
