United Petroleum are having 12 cents off per litre from 6am to 9pm on March 29th to all RACT members who present their card membership card at time of purchase. Considering the discount is normally 6 cents and fuel prices have jumped up to an average of 142.5 for Unleaded 91, it's a very good deal if you need to fill up.
I saw it on the news myself. Makes sense to go to United when they're usually the cheapest.
I downloaded the RACT fuel app to see where the cheapest fuel is around Launceston and it's almost always United anyway, so even at the usual 6 cents it's still better. Caltex/Woolies and Shell/Coles Express are almost universally the most expensive, which is a shame as I'd like to use my flybuys at Shell and pump up the points.
Looks like the Shell at Invermay price matches the United as they're next door almost. Out be a couple of cents.
I usually fill up at United if I’m over that way to do shopping etc (we live rurally, so it’s a 40km round trip otherwise and not worth it just to fill up). Bummer that it’s for one day though as I will be over there later in the week, can’t do it earlier due to work.
