Hi Guys,
I was at Bondi Junction Harvey Norman today and they had a stack of about 20 of the Toshbia t100/001 10.1" tablet's on sale for $298. Next cheapest on Shop Bot i could see was $388.

They had a display at the front of the store with a whole bunch. Jb Hifi down stairs and Myer both had this tablet in stock for $498.

Seems like a good deal for a 10.1" tablet with hdmi and usb full size ports.

I didn't see an expiry but i guess you could assume until sold out. The web site still has it listed as $498.

    I'd wait for the AT200, to try another Toshiba.

    Not bad but these are very bulky. Plus new tegra 3 tablets around the corner could see this for $199 in near future. I'm going to wait and see what happens.

    We are seeing a few threads and sales of the AT100 and just as i suspected due to the release of the AT200 which was announced about 6 months ago. $298 still looks high for the AT100 but the specs are good if you dont mind holding a heavy device.

    With Tegra 3 tablets with 1080p LCD display coming, discounted Tegra 2 tablets can be expected.

    Though, if you are willing to wait, get a Tegra 3 tablet with 1080p LCD display (or wait for iPad 3 if you want Apple devices).

    Whenever I see the words Toshiba, and tablet, why do I automatically think of South Park, and the Toshiba HandyBook? ;) I'd post a link, but the language is probably inappropriate for here.

        1: Why did you settle for an iPad?!? smallerl screen… Apple-nazi market-control… fear of what others say/think… like to pay MORE for your geek-gear …why? It just SO doesn't make sense.

        2: Dunno… 'guess I wasn't thinking. Hey, can you loan me $100… I want to get a keyboard for my iPad…?
