PS+ Collection is only available on the PS5 so people who haven't been able to grab the console yet haven't had access to free Days Gone yet.
If this is true then it will be a disappointing April PS+ month.
I still can't get my hands on a PS5 like most people so this is a good month for me.
Followed by the 10 free games we just got, I absolutely can't complain with this.

Note that 4 of them require VR.
Days Gone is already in the PS+ Collection but will be a great pickup for all those who are still rocking it on the PS4. If you have a base ps4 however, and can wait, I'd play it on the ps5 for the smooooooth 60FPS.

It seems to be. I don't see Sony taking it away in the next 2 years, considering so many people can't get their hands on the PS5.

Only on PS5 via the PS+ collection. So this might not be so good for both of the people who have managed to get their hands on a PS5 so far, but for everybody else this is very good indeed.
They still need to cater for PS4 players.
Can’t find this confirmed anywhere else, the site looks anything but legitimate, and, as mentioned above, Days Gone is also already included in the PS Plus Collection.

I thought for the past couple of days, the guess was Uncharted: Lost Legacy, not Days Gone.
Generally, Sony put games I own on PS Plus a lot… so… I was thinking.. Sony's has done it again with Lost Legacy. It doesn't matter to me one way or another. Days Gone is already on PS Plus Collection.

You'll enjoy it. I was cold towards days gone because of the lukewarm review cycle, and of the allegedly so-so story. Could not have been more wrong.
To be honest, there are genuine gripes I have with the game. A lot of the missions are similar in structure (though playing them feels different), the main protagonist takes a while to like, the hordes are formally introduced to you about at the 80% mark of the main story (though you can encounter and kill them all whenever you feel like), and the in game economy can reduce the power fantasy ( I can never find enough material to craft every gadget I want).
But believe you me, it's a brilliant game. It's an objective 7/10 which feels like a 9/10 by the time you roll credits and receive the secret mission.
To all of you on the fence, please play this game. Please give it time to grow on you. Please enjoy yourselves.
Days Gone is brilliant, but it's a copout for those who already have it with PS+ Collection

Gonna go against the grain and say I tried to enjoy days gone but just couldn't. The game felt too boring with missions all very similar. While the story was pretty good, it wasn't enough to keep me going. Maybe I just got spoilt with the last of us 2.

Not gonna fault you for not enjoying it. But I can definitely say that after 6 -8 hours, it truly shows itself.
TLOU2 was an extremely linear game, with filler cinematics (way overdone), filler flashback tasks & lots of meaningless present day tasks that is the true definition of grinding (on your nerves).
At times I wanted to rip my face off with how much space of nothingness there was in the gameForgot also what a dead copy the Ellie vs Abby hunt was from the David cannibal in the first game

This is one of the few games on the PS4/PS5 that I actually enjoyed. I don't know why people loved GoT more than this. The missions in GoT were so much more boring and repetitive. Days Gone could be played for longer and there were some actually challenging/ tense parts in the game.
My top PS4 picks are: GoW, Bloodborne, LoU2, Sekiro, Days Gone, GoT… in that order

Let's face it, Sony's PSN subscriptions have more than tripled since the PS5. They have no reason to give us decent games for free.
Even gamepass has gone to crap.
Wait till the hype dies down, then they'll be fighting for your money.
Control Ultimate Edition, Final Fantasy 7 Remake, Shadow of the Tomb Raider. PS Plus is decent this year so far (compared to XBox Live Gold - though you do feel Microsoft want to move everyone to GamePass Ultimate).
With Play At Home, Sony gave out Ratchet and Clank (60fps for PS5 patch coming) and will give out Horizon Zero Dawn complete edition. They are free without needing PS Plus subscription. So far, better than last year for sure (and we know it is trying to get more people to buy PS5). GamePass Ultimate, well, at least most Bethesda games are now in there, rather than on and off.
What netsurfer said; had a great bunch of games as of late. I've stopped purchasing launch titles and wait for PS plus as I've got an awesome backlog to burn through.
Remnant is great multiplayer fun
Control is unreal on the PS5
Ratchet and Clank is a blast
Destruction All Stars is pretty neatPlayed Oddworld back in the day and will be fun on PS5

If I have days gone, then get it with my ps+ sub do I keep the game saves (using my ps+ login etc) if I get rid of the disc?
Yep, as long as your existing disc copy is the same region as the digital copy, you shouldn’t have any issues.

You might need to download the game again though. Sony tends to treat the disc version and the digital version as separate versions (even though save games work).
