Are these TVs easy to install on the wall?

    • +1 vote

Comes with a mount in the box, has this hook style mount, kind of like a picture frame. You need a second person there to guide you to the latch (on the bigger ones)

      •

        Thank you

      •

Could you hang the smaller ones off picture rails?

        • +2 votes

Might be possible. The 32" one is 5.3 kg without stand.

Just fyi, Freesync and [email protected] (HDMI 2.1) are only available in the 55 and 65 variants

Well, that's annoying. Seems to be pretty standard that no one is offering things like that on screens under 55". Really frustrating for setting up screens in my office. Have no need for 55" there.

    •

thanks, I just wonder which it is the cheapest tv in the market with this feature

    NO serif 55 inch ?!

Definitely didn't need this… Thanks OP!

    good prices I have 2018 model, looking to buy 75" 2020 or 2021 models.cheers

Harvey Norman has the 2020 75" at 25% off as well

  •

whats the difference between 2020 and 2021 model. Are these any good anyone know? i would like to display photos on this device if its suitable thanks

    • +1 vote

The 2021 unit is half as thick, but that’s about it. With 25% off I’d say this is a great but. I have the 50” version and it’s been great. Just note that paintings (especially abstract ones) look more ‘authentic’ than photos on the TV.

        • bigger storage for own pictures I think went from 500MB to few GBs
        •

wait internal storage is 500mb, no way to use a usb or connect a device to play the photos off? or even off a cloud service?

      •

more or less authentic than photos?

  •

what disadvantage does 'the frame' have over the standard QLED from Samsung?

    •

consider it as model between q70t and q80t( that one has full array local dimming)

Maybe better with buying through the good guys with 5% cashrewards

If anyone come across good deal on Sony 75” X9000H please share. Good guys 10% not working with this model.

    •

      I’m lusting after the Sony 50” X9000J

  •

would these be suitable for an alfresco / outdoor area (that's covered and is shaded for 90% of the day) ?

    •

Is it possible to introduce an additional shade to cover that 10%?

      what about Samsung Terrace TV?

  •

How do these perform with sports / fast action? TBH, I've been holding out for a decent price on 65" LG OLED, but at half the price these are enticing… I do game, so I'm a little torn!

  •

Is the Frame 55" not available? Can't see it on JB's website

  •

These are good quality TVs 55 n above, my Sony x9000E struggles in front of it in terms of brightness and crispness of picture.

The good guys also have their EGG10 code (ends tonight) that stacks for an extra 10% off and then 5% off through cash rewards. A good deal all round, I just grabbed the 43” for the office.

    •

EGG10 doesn't seem to work? (For the 65)

      •

It’s still working here in the 43” but haven’t checked the other sizes.

        •

Yeah seems to work on some of the others but not 65 - odd!
Edit: The 65 is a "door buster" deal so doesn't apply.

  •

Do you have to pay to download & display "artworks" on your TV?

Apparently it's chargeable after the first 3 month trial…

    •

Yes. It's chargeable to use Samsung's own artwork series per month. I am yet to own this, but I guess it should be possible to source our own images/artwork to display. They should be high resolution though.

Update: Deal made sweeter by another 5% off until 3rd April.

    Pricing updated in OP

  •

The 43" works out to be $718.89 from Good Guys if you stack EGG10 10% off code, Cashrewards 5% cashback and Latitude Pay $50 bonus.

    •

The EGG10 code expires tonight but a great deal! Bought a 43” and 32” and have just picked up from the nearest store (WA). Happy Easter y’all!

  •

Anyone know if the AU models are VA or IPS?

    •

      VA same as overseas models

  •

Just a heads up the JB in Plenty Valley Westfield has a 43" Serif with "LAST ONE" on the price if anyone still wants one.

  •

Anyone find a place to buy reasonably priced bezels for these TVs?
I feel like white would work nicely but any I have found online are ridiculously expensive, and I'm not yet convinced a DIY job would look good.

    •

I ended up ordering from ebay Goodguys. Wasn't sure if the 2021 frames will fit on 2020 frames.
