Considering how empty their car park was last time I was there, I feel they should be trying a little harder than 14%. Then again, we’ve been screwed by airport parking for so long in Australia I couldn’t care less if they’re losing profits on that front.
I used to live in Texas a few years ago, went to DFW international to pick up a friend but their flight was delayed. Sat in the paid parking for two hours because I was relatively new to town and didn’t want to drive around and just accepted it was going to cost my kidney like Sydney/Melbourne. Drove through and paid about $1.60 and left with the biggest look of disbelief on my face.
having parked in the domestic long stay a few weeks ago I can say it was difficult to find a parking space so they are full, it was well discounted then. Agree airport parking is a rip off but 14% is better than nothing and Brisbane were doing good deals during covid
