      yes, i just tried and it doesn't work. usually they tell you it is expired on their daily deals page.

  I got one of these last time, they felt really cheap and mine already had some oxidation around the joints… for $1.49 I guess it's a good deal, but I would rather spend $20 or so and get one of decent quality.
