    Don't you mean GWS ???

    • Nobody means GWS

      • +1

        Nobody means GWS

        True, they are very average…

  • What is going on with Furphy?
Heaps of $15 Mastercards from Lion Nathan a couple of weeks ago, supposedly to boost the sales of Furphy (I don't think many did) and now this heavy discount.

    • +2

      don't believe everything you hear.

      • +3

Are you saying they were Lyin'?

        • Maybe just a furphy

    • +4

I heard they're trying to get the Lions share of beer.

    • +2

Damn it, they did the same thing with Boag Draught, take a beer people like, scale up production using adjuncts, market it to hell, and destroy the brand and beer at the same time.

      Mountain Goat next?

    • My $14 mastercard bought me a couple of double beef and bacon burger meals with frappes.
What's this boost is Furphys you speak of?

  • Any idea how long this is valid for?

Avoid the lager- tastes weak and watered down. The ale is not bad.

    • The ale quality has dropped over the years since production has ramped up. A pale comparison to what it once was.

      • +2

I guess you could say…its a pale ale

Is this bottles, cans or either?

    • works with either

      • +1

        what about kegs?

  • Thanks!

  • +1

Put in Qld postcode and gave me voucher. Will advise later if works.

    • I also got a voucher with a Qld postcode.
I see no reason why it should not work.

    • +2

      Worked,but had to input manually.

      • Thanks. Will try in WA

      • Did you use the voucher instore or online/app?

        • +1

In store, bar code didn't read, cashier input into register manually. $10!

"He booted that ball so hard it split like an old shoe, the leather went through for 6 but the Bladder sailed through for an extra point and that's how I kicked a 7 pointer to win the match".

  • $21 for a 6 pack, ie $84 for a case is ridiculous

    BWS sell cases for $47/$48

    https://bws.com.au/product/878604/furphy-refreshing-ale-bott…

but $10 for a 6pack is still a good deal

    • You can’t just multiply 4 for case pries. Try 2.5-3x

    • +1

      That's not how things work.

  • IMO I like Great Northern over Furphy..
Too many though, causes me to go toilet regularly.

While we’re at it, you should also get your bladder checked out.

    Perfect timing OP!
Just got an Everyday Rewards $10 credit voucher and used it with this deal at my local BWS. 😊
Nothing like free beer on a warm Melbourne arvo!
    Thanks OP.

  • You MUST consent to them sending you promotional stuff to get the deal.

    Not a chance.

  • Received this because I'm a Saints fan, and it's "our sponsor" kinda sucks we as fans don't get anything extra boooooooo

    • Yeah we don't even get a decent performance, surely they could double the beers for us.

      • Wow, they must have read my comment at half time.

  • +1

    Working in qld too

    • While they'll send you the code, you might not be able to redeem it in your local BWS as the terms and conditions says only valid for BWS in VIC

  • AFL? Wouldn't surprise me. Kiddos get betting odds shoved down their throat without changing the default settings.

    • +3

Sad isn't it, for every dollar of tax payers money spent promoting health and moderate grog consumption and helping problem gamblers - companies spend $100 bringing them in, on a hiding to nowhere!

      • Considering the competition still wants to play in China with all that's happening shows as long as there's cash, ethics do not apply.

    • +3

Mate kiddos get a betting ad every second ad on a weekend or evening if watching standard channels.

The lax laws in this country regarding betting and it's glorification in advertising is a sad road, and one that will not have a great ending for gambling related worries.

  • Website not loading for me

Didn’t realise so many people liked this beer

    • +1

it’s 375 ml not 330 ml so that is a start, and the ale does have some flavour ….. and a slab is usually about $45-$46

    • +2

      I reckon it's a great staple!

  • Works in nsw!!
