Apple Watch Series 5 Stainless Steel 44mm Milanese Loop (Various Colours) $771 + Delivery @ BNE Marketplace

140

This is one of the cheapest prices I’ve seen. Essentially I went to BNE marketplace and asked them to match JB prices and they matched it on all colours - JB had limited stock on 2 colours only. Cheapest around right now. Needless to say I picked up one straight away. Roughly 40% off from RPP of $1259

  • What about warranty? Never bought from this seller before so wondering if warranty can be an issue in case.

    • This is sold by brisbane airport so I guess it’s local Apple product

Ozstraps is where you go to buy bands for apple watches if you have any sense.

They rrp for how much now?!?
Have a look $10-15 non apple Milanese Loop bands on eBay etc. They are identical.
I understand paying for R&D and design etc but apples watch bands prices are robbery…

    • I bought 2 of those off ebay. The colour starts to come off after a month or two.

Apparently this happens to the “real” ones too…according to the internet. Apple won’t cover it under warranty cause it’s classed as cosmetic.

To be honest I wore mine for a week, hated it and it’s been in a draw ever since lol

    • Stainless Steel

    • Not the same mate. Can’t expect genuine to non genuine accessories to be the same price

      • Why not? It’s the same material. Same design. Same dimensions. I went to the apple store and checked it out, couldn’t tell the difference.

We’re talking stainless steel here not gold.

        $10 vs $700 is outrageous

        • I don’t know mate. Just because they look the same doesn’t make them genuine. Just like Apple genuine lightening cables and rip off lightening cables for $1 and don’t last as long or stop working randomly. You can’t compare a rip off to a genuine product and that’s why there are people who prefer to purchase them. But I get your point also though - not everyone is the same too

          • @corgicorgi: My understanding is the lightening cables stop working cause the fake ones have a cloned or hacked encrypted chip that apple uses to enforce licensing fees. Those I agree need to be genuine and I only buy mfi certified lighting cables.

But in case of these bands, other than design and fit, there’s no tech involved here. Unless apple are using some super special high grade stainless steel, I can’t see how they can justify their insane mark up

But yeah, like you said each to their own, as long as ur happy with how you spend your money at the end of the day.

Thanks OP, Pretty good price although your rrp is totally wrong v6 sells for $1,189.

    • It’s what they listed on their website. I just copied/pasted.

  • 44mm SS Silver and Black are both OOS now. Gold is still available.

  • My first gen 42mm stainless finally died the other week and I've been searching for a replacement. Already have the ~$700 link bracelet I want to continue using. Not sure wether to pull the pin on a series 5 at jb for $759 or wait for a series 6 deal? Seem to be able to get a s5 for around $500 second hand though.

    • also check the apple referb page. I threw my series 4 overboard - unintentionally and recently picked up a Nike series 5 aluminium for $499 with 12mths warranty.

      • Yeah the refurb page is actually about $100 more than jb at the moment
