Razer Viper Ambidextrous Wired Gaming Mouse $59 Free Pickup or $0.99 Shipping @ MSY

130

Looks like MSY is doing another site redesign and is offering deals for the weekend.

Lowest price online based on my search. Mwave has it for $69 but that is the "mini" version. Others have it from $88.

Amazon had it for about $68 last november. Has pretty good reviews online.

Decent price for local stock, but it's regularly on sale at around this point. I'd even expect it to drop closer towards $45 over time, as the 8kHz version ramps in production.

The full size Viper is regularly on sale at this price? Could you please link to some posts where that's the case? This seems at least $5 cheaper (8% less approx) than previous deals from a quick search.

Yeah its normally the mini at these prices

There were a string of AU retailers sales on and off eBay too, as well as clearance deals out of China. Was possible to get this for around $50, pretty sure. The 8kHz version is going to be slowly taking over its position, and I'd expect it to drop to $80 fairly quickly.

          Should've posted the deal!

          • @reloxation: Was pretty brief, and it was dotted amongst listings that seemed to be referring to the Viper Mini, but yeah.

Basically the Viper Wired is all-but discontinued at this point.

I bought the 8Khz version for $134 last week and honestly it feels no different than my Logitech G402. And I have 240hz monitor and play OW and CSGO only. I switched back n forth a few times to see if I’m missing anything but nope. Feels like total waste of money. Should have listened to Hardware Canucks.

    • Most games don't support it yet, so turning it on is often fraught with issues.

If you need a headset and or a keyboard as well, its worth exploring the Razer Power Up Bundle. I needed a new mouse, and took the opportunity to get a headset and then a week later spilt a drink on my keyboard so it worked out for me.

    Currently:
$101 https://www.binglee.com.au/razer-rz85-02740200-power-up-bund… and on their ebay and catch storefronts
$119 https://www.centrecom.com.au/razer-power-up-bundle-cynosa-li… was $109 in the easter sale

    • Meh, the keyboard isn't mechanical and that headset doesn't exactly scream quality. Seems more like they paired a good mouse with some cheap shit to get rid of it.

      • Indeed, they aren't spectacular, the headset doesn't have the volume/mute controls of the Kraken X (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/615699), but is a little 'Lite'r and my use case was WFH for me not gaming (well just very casually).

Excellent mouse. Used it for a year. Feels like the mouse is gliding since it is so light
