This one offer better value in my opinion, using eBay code and eBay discounted gift card bring it down to under $900

      1650ti under $900 is alright i guess

    • +8

They are not at the same league:

      8c/16t Vs 4c/8t
      1650ti Vs 1660ti

      • +1

+1 this deal has better CPU and GPU. Worth the difference if you can afford.

        • But it has 8gb ram, the other is 16gb

    • is there any ultrabooks that has 1660ti or 1650?

Razer Blade Stealth 13 Ultrabook Gaming Laptop

      • Asus zephyrus g14
I think there is a big jump in performance between 1650 and other dedicated graphics, better than integrated though

        • +1

Asus zephyrus g14 is my dream laptop. Too bad I can't afford it

    • how to get it under 900 without gift card? what price would be printed on receipt for TRS purposes?

This model is the one with bad airflow design and screen?

    • +1

      Yes

    • Yeah but at this price, it's probably hit the point of being good value.

  • Does this model have any airflow , screen issues ?

  • Price increased

  • Just a note, not specific to this deal.
Why does no manufacturer do a 4800H machine without a discrete GPU?
The GPU on the 4800H is very well speccd and would be a great stand alone option, probably with significant power savings over a discrete GPU.
Would also save money not to include a discrete GPU and the additional cooling it requires.
By no means would it make a good gaming option, but would be great for side gaming and heavy CPU work.

    • There is a laptop with a 4800H and no discrete GPU. Look up the Mech Revo Code 01(TongFang GK7NR0R). Boutique laptop suppliers normally provide these chassis, such as Metabox in Australia.

    Took a punt,

    Ordered yesterday,

    Arrived today..

came with 16gb of ram DDR4-3200 (2x8gig).. as I suspected… the amazon specs are wrong.
    12 months warranty only..

    Got this screen instead
    https://www.panelook.com/N156HRA-EA1_Innolux_15.6_LCM_overvi…

Better than the original reviews.. 8bit / 16.7millions colors but 45% NTSC..

    Rather expressed with the machine..
expecting the worse… seems a lot better than the reviews suggest..
Not the best nor worst screen..

the SSD is one of the these Micron QLC
    https://media-www.micron.com/-/media/client/global/documents…

    Impressed overall, for the price…

    • Looks cool.

Ps: are you Kelvin from ocau?

  • Also the harddrive 2.5inch spare cable and screws were a small plastic bag inside the box..
