      Mate, you can't put the cheap CPUs like this one into a dual-socket system, would need to switch to EPYCs instead.

      HN basically have said that for months. Same with GPUs. Some people ordered 3080s on release and still haven't got them from HN.

      They called and emailed me. I bought it in January. They do not expect any stock to come any time soon and offered a refund. Timeframe is 'indefinite'

    Man, life…..I used to get hacked Windows XP during University days, buying ultra cheap PC parts to make my PC, begging for ram and trying to find used hard disks. Now I look at a $1600 CPU and think to myself…..not a bad CPU, might grab it. I know I just use the home PC ( 99%) for Facebook, stock market charts and Youtube and the 1% when I want to stress my PC I will get my son to play Fortnite for a few hours. I still remember those days very fondly, attending computer meetups, markets, etc to get cheap parts….hehe. Life, man….life. Bought. (Upgrading from 3800x) Thx OP. I want to go back to my old self at University and tell him, everything will be good, just relax.

      Thanks man, I actually need one for work and a few other friends want one too, I also do not care about price all I care about is getting one. People don’t seem to realise the shortage that is going to continue well into 2022 - so they can expect these prices for CPUs and GPUs for quite a while unfortunately.
