I bought an air vent holder one time, last one I ever bought. If you are pedantic about your car as I am you won't get one. The one I bought scratched up my air vents terribly.

I got a gravity one from another deal. works a treat. it doesn't scratch and doesn't drop the phone or fall out of the vent.

Dealbreaker for me is the lack of a lip on the clip which gets inserted into the air vent itself.
With this holder, you're essentially relying on the spring/friction to stop it from falling out.
