I was in Myer and saw these on sale at 65% off. They seem reasonably attractive for a less expensive design. The box says they are ‘crystal glass’ so there may or may not be some lead in them, but they are at least a bit heavier than your average cheap glass. They come in three designs:

There's lead in them?
These are ‘crystal glass’ which, according to the Wikipedia article, doesn’t contain any lead oxide at all. Instead, the glass has barium oxide, zinc oxide, or potassium oxide in it to give it similar properties without the associated health risks.
@Chazzozz: Either way, it oxidises whisky so I've stopped using mine. I'm not a big drinker and an open bottle can last a few months.
@Skullytor: Ooh. Better not use it to pass off my Costco cognac (which actually isn’t too bad at all).
@Skullytor: How does the flavour change? I honestly don’t recall storing anything long enough that it changed significantly enough for me to notice (or, I have an unsophisticated palate, which is entirely possible…). I was always under the impression that spirits didn’t ‘go off’ like, say, wine or beer, both of which have more organic compounds in them that readily react with oxygen.

Those outlets are good. If you are a member you get extra % off on top of the discounts. There is obviously huge markups in crystal-ware. They also sell fancy cutlery brands, sometimes around 70% off, making it about the same price as a 'normal' brand when its retail.
We purchased these for about $40ish when they went on sale.

Yeah some good savings, who the hell would ever pay RRP. I did once purchase 2x cutlery sets of a fancy brand, but returned them when found out shouldn't put in the dishy, and got some nice Oz bargain recommended (but hard wearing target sets)
Paint it black and resell it for $400 as a urn.
