Star Wars Day is May the 4th.

If you go dressed in cosplay (presumably Star Wars) you can get 50% off one item in store but seems to be restricted to maximum of $150.

edit: They sell LEGO!

How to claim your 50% off discount

Come dressed in your favourite Star Wars character and receive 50% off anything in store at Hobbyco!
Take a photo with the Hobbyco team to celebrate Star Wars Day! May the 4th be with you!

To receive 50% off in stores, entrants must come dressed in Star Wars costume on 4th May 2021 to any of the four Hobbyco stores.

The Star Wars event is for 1 day only on 04/05/2021. The discount will apply to the 1st item of any purchase. Discount must not exceed $150 off original RRP. Store managers have the discretion not to apply the discount. By participating in the event you agree to your photos being shared on Hobbyco social media channels, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok and Youtube.

  So despite claiming the discount is for any product from any brand, there's exclusions that they don't list and they have the out to just not give the discount at all.

  Everyone searches for whatever $300 items they can scalp on ebay and borrows the same star wars costume.

  My young fella got the discount no questions asked, he’s pretty chuffed with his new purchases so their strategy to lure people in to walk out with more stuff than intended might’ve worked…
