Yeah, this is a pretty decent price. Most of the other prices I’ve found for this model is around 450-600, I believe retail is around 650-700.
I think this might be a discontinued model though, since I can’t seem to find it available at any of my usual seiko dealers.
If the dial and bezel are to your liking, I’d say pick it up and replace the band with something else.

Yes this is a good deal.
The best deals on the new seiko 5 range are usually between 240-280 au$
And I haven't seen this model get on sale before. Usually, the colored variants rarely go under 300$$300-and-change is about par for the course every day pricing for most watches in the SRPD (5KX) range.
Anything in the mid-200's is ok pricing, and anything starting with a 4 or higher is just not worth it.
Nice, but the colour/strap combo isn't for me.
I went into a store to browse for a beater when I don't want to wear my apple watch.
Quite interested in the G-shock, but they were selling the Casioak's for RRP and couldnt get near the USD price.
Ended up impulse buying a promaster diver (and that was after being tempted by a TW Steel Canteen)
Can any of you watch nerds confirm that this is a deal? I particularly want an SRPD** something? I’d prefer a rubber, nato or this mesh option, just not the bracelet.
