This deal has been available before. BUT….It seems you can do MULTIPLE orders in one day at the $3 buy (It states Limit of 2 per day in the terms). You can add some lots of 2, of any "Try me for $3" product on the ONE order. I did 6 x 1 orders in a row and purchased a total of 12 Cans of Bombay G&T Double Serve Cans for only $36 (Normal price 3 x 4Packs @ $28each = $84, a nice saving of $48) + 2% Shopback.

But the Cream on the cake is that when I added 1 x single can of "Colossal Brewing Mind Harvest East Coast IPA Can 375ml", it registers @ $0 in checkout.. So the Bottom Line is that I could order 2 x Cans of 10% Bombay G&T + 1 Can of Colossal Brewing Mind Harvest East Coast IPA Can 375ml for only $6 which equates to $1.86 per can after $0.30 back on Shopback. This is the best way I can explain it. Cashrewards is a better deal at 5% too atm

        The Colossal Brewing can is supposed to be free for team members, so I'm assuming someone's (profanity) up and made it applicable for all rewards card members. Try the Hopmosphere flavour too, or something like a Rainbird Passionfruit. Both of those are free for team members and might show up as $0.

    Even when I add the exact same beer you mentioned (after I add 2 of the Bombay G&T product, which is showed correctly for $3 each), it show normal price instead of $0

    Any specific step I need to follow?

      Make sure the Bombay is the 10% - Add 2 cans of Bombay and then 1 Can of Colossal Brewing Mind Harvest East Coast IPA Can 375m it will show $0 for the beer and $6 for the 2 cans Bombay.

          yep that's what I've done; two cans of Bombay then added 1 can of Colossal Brewing Mind Harvest, the two bombay are the 10%, they show as 3 dollars each but the beer isn't $0 for some reason, unfortunately. I wonder if it's only working when certain store(s) are selected or something

              edit: I just read the link that the Infidel posted below and noted people were saying the order had to be over 25 dollars for the can to be free. I randomly added a few more beers and sure enuf it dropped the Colossal east coast down to nothing, I tried deleting the added extra beers n the Colossal east coast went back to 5. I tried adding just one more beer and it drops it to nothing again…so… lol I dunno, but it seems to want me to spend at least a little bit more for it to work, for me

                @Popid: I spent some time on 12/4 trying different combinations after reading that comment to add the can free to $25 order of beer.

                Found it worked with other combinations, but Double Bombay Sapphire gave the best return for $3 cans with the free can of beer.

                Didn't think much of the free beer, so won't try this hack again.

      The $3 Cans are a Bargain. Coding errors are simple mistakes like the Supermarket law of scanning at the wrong price. The Scanning Code of Practice is a voluntary code that certain stores (including Woolworths, Coles, some IGA’s, and Aldi) have signed up to, where if an item scans higher than what the shelf price says, the customer is entitled to receive the first item for free, and any subsequent identical items at the lower price. This means that if you have two similar items scan higher than the shelf price, such as two packets of chips that are different flavours, both would be free, as they are not identical. First product is free. Yes this does not apply to Tobacco or Liquor under the code. We live in a technological world and well…..

    By the way an easier way of reordering is:
    1) Linking your Paypal account
    2) Copying and pasting this URL: https://bws.com.au/my-account/order-history
    3) Clicking reorder

    That way you can do multiple orders in a single minute, after you've ordered the initial one.

    Free can was suggested in this comment by werdplaya58. But how it worked wasn't certain.

    Found it worked for free can of "Colossal Brewing Mind Harvest East Coast IPA" when ordering 2 Bombay Sapphires

    But didn't work with some other $3 offers - charging $3 for that can.

    This is a really weird bug, try reporting it to BWS next time you might get a bug bounty instead of Ozbargain upvotes. However your $AUD>Ozbargain upvote exchange rate may vary so use your discretion.

        It's very hit and miss I recall a guy reported a bug that allowed Qantas passenger to select flight seats for free. They didn't fix the bug and didn't care and he posted the bug on ozbargain as revenge, not realising the bug would get them now business. However, in this case this deal loses bws money so a bounty should be paid as if exploited they stand to lose thousands.

    I'm in SA, and it worked easy.

    I added 2 Gins, then added the Beer and my cart is $6

    Are people just doing seperate orders? I spose I could do a few, I wonder if they'll honour it tho. I would of thought an employee would find it odd that someone has 6 small orders 😂

      was same for me; adding one more beer (at full price, and in this case I decided to try the Colossal Hopmosphere West Coast ipa) and it made it work, I dunno why (maybe any other beer wld do it, or…who knows what else; I dno if it's because it's bringing it above ten dollars or something maybe…was 12 all up, still figured it was worth it for the two cans of bombay, one can of east coast n one can of west coast ipa)

    Adding the mind harvest only works for me if I add a fourth item as well, then it changes to $0. I can add a can of the Initial Brewing Craft XPA Can for $3 though (or $6 for 2), even though that shouldn't work. Not really a bargain for that beer though since it's $18 for 6 anyway.

      BWS list the BS 10 pack for $3 - tried but only received 1 can
      The BS Double are 10% alcohol for same $3.

        When Mind Harvest was first released it appeared on the BWS website as $60 for 24, even though the "carton" was 16. I bought one, then contacted customer service, and they only offered a refund, not fulfillment of the order. Does anyone know what consumer law might cover the incorrectly advertised price?

          Australian Consumer Law covers incorrectly described / priced products. The merchant doesn't have to sell the product, & offering a refund is the usual remedy. Disappointing.

          Sometimes we get more than we ordered…
          When I ordered 1 free can of Bombay Sapphire won with BWS 100 days of Summer promo, was given a 4 pack instead. At same store, received a 700ml bottle of Prosecco instead of the 200ml ordered in that promo for $2. Staff made the mistake - in my favour😊

    Ordered, fwiw says on the page can't order two of the same sort but lets you and have paid so they probably don't care.

    As a side note, I've noticed an order or two in my app 'to be collected', can't remember if I did from the store in question or different one, has anyone ever noticed that? May as well scan the barcode to check.

    Just a note for people posting "Conscience Comments about taking advantage of a glitch in the BWS System". Endeavour group made well over 2 Billion Dollars in 2020 and is not going to lose much on this deal/hack. Woolworths are not as ethical as most people think they are. Shutting down Mum and Dad Petrol Stations with there Discount Coupons, Ripping off Farmers with shitty prices for Milk and Produce, yes, to get the best deal. For US or Them? 1/2 Price Specials at the Supermarket, wtf is that? So you want to charge me $6.75 for a box of Nutri-Grain last week but this week only charge me $3.37(Sorry had to put that in, my kids eat that). I understand the Marketing and how it works. Yet some people are oblivious to these kind of Tactics. Even taking back Woolworths Rewards Points without people knowing, yes without you knowing. The almighty Dollar is the Bottom line for them. I didn't post this deal to get back at Endeavour Group/Woolworths/BWS or Steal from them. Anyway, I do hope everyone gets there orders.

        Technically there is no theft. Nor have we hacked in and raided the BWS bank account. The point of them making a ridiculous amount of money was more so an indication pointing towards their legal unethical stealing from us blinded consumers. Not about how much they have. Yes I agree with you theft is not right. I'm not condoning that. Yet it is something that these big corporates get away with everyday and most people don't see. Ive played Monolopy too so if there is a Bank Error in your favour, will you collect the $100? or is that considered stealing? If you don't know about it and it's not offered then I guess you miss out. Then the bank gets to keep its $100 and you're not affected. Many times we have been overcharged by Woolworths and never bothered to do anything about it. So if I got a couple of free cans of beer, I'm sure that evens things out ;)

      In 3 weeks, I used a promo code that applied but didn't calculate properly, I bought a free delivery subscription that applied, but added delivery back to the total and I utilised a 2000 bonus points promotion that didn't apply. Even calling them up they wouldn't rectify it. Refused to refund me the incorrectly taken amounts, Offered me a credit for the delivery ($10, knowing full well I would need to spend more to utilise it with a $50 minimum). Used it the following week, which apparently meant my total spend was not eligible for the next weeks points as they apparently subtract my 'credit'.
      So in my mind, when the ball falls in your court …game on and game on hard. Pitty I hate Gin.
