lol dont get nylon cooking utensils. They will melt and possibly poison your food. Get silicon instead as your absolute minimum

    • This is why I love OzBargains! I didn’t even think about the melting point! Cheers 😁

    Get silicon ones

    • you have any specific recommendations on silicon ones?

Aldi had some silicon utensils, for $1.99, recently. Might be worth keeping an eye out.

        • I tried Aldi ones, they didn't last 1 round through the dish washer

I bought this one last Nov. Rock solid product. The seller accepted my offer for $26 including shipping. A total of 23 pieces. Has everything you will ever need.

    • Why do you think silicon ones, I don’t think these will leave residue with the food. You don’t leave them in when cooking.

      • When you are frying, temperatures easily exceed 200degC. Whereas silicone in a couple hundred degrees more resistant.

        • I wouldn’t use these with frying oil.

  • I got the 5pc when it was on clearance at Woolies a year or so ago. They are good, except when quickly flipping some doughnuts frying in oil, it bubbled up half of the surface :-(

    • That is dangerous!
