As I couldn't get officeworks to price match the recent deal from PC Byte, found these on Amazon.

Seems like a decent price

  • Possible grey imports, in which case cheaper at Kogan etc

    • +1

But it yesterday, I'll tell you when it arrives tomorrow.

      • Confirmed, I bought this from Wireless Experts AU via Amazon AU and it arrived today. It is a grey import SM-R175NZKAMEA, which looks like it's sold in the Middle East.

Now the big question is should I send it back? It is clearly not as described, but I can't see any near the same price and I don't like the look of the Live.

        • Honest question here
Does it matter if it is a grey import or not? Would Amazon still cover the warranty though?

          • +1

@BigLeviathan: As it was sold by Wireless Experts AU any warranty claim would be with them not Amazon. The advantage of the AU part number is that you get a two year warranty backed by Samsung Australia.

  • based on recent reviews and complaints these are grey imports

Why this can be amazon choice??, these are deceiving… not including info that these are grey import

  • Pretty sure the PCByte one was a grey import too

  • Dick Smith selling these for $119 delivered.

    • Link? I could only see the Galaxy Buds for $99. The plus models are $139 plus delivery.

        • Damn, I just went to officeworks with glee thinking I'd cracked the code. The dick smith ones are Hong Kong imports by all accounts and they wouldn't price beat. Now I need to go back as I noticed the post below where they got for $122 :)

          • @mortium: Tried getting officeworks to price beat PcByte. No luck. They will knock you back on the difference in product codes. Only the lucky ones have success.

@rickb: I did get for $133 yesterday. Officeworks wouldn't do for the regular PC Byte price, they added postage as I'm in WA :(

Still happy with the result. Great earphones, and just typical that when I got out the car the old pair of Taotronics I thought I had lost dropped out from something I thought had searched!

Spare pair for the gym now though :)

  • I just got one today from Officeworks for $122.55 (They did price beat PC Byte).

  • Just price matched Amazon and got it for $132 from Officeworks.
