TWS-NB2 from Edifier. Released the last quarter of 2020.
Retails for approx. $110+ (Kogan might be the cheapest currently). Discounted price via Amazon Au of $99. $20 discount via Little Birdie to bring the total price to $79.99. Remember the $20 voucher from LittleBirdie (https://www.littlebirdie.com.au/) expires this Friday, April 30th. Shipping is stated as 2-5 weeks from placing the order so a bit of a wait unfortunately.
White option only available. I think they look good.
Understandably others will differ in opinion with this brand vs. Samsung, AirPods etc.
Decent reviews, NC features not the greatest but hey none of these in ear buds are great compared to over the ear headphone anyway.
I ordered it last week and will be receiving it today so can't comment yet.
To those that take this up, enjoy.

Some reviews (couldn't find any on rtings.com unfortunately) if it helps anyone:

  • These are brilliant TWS, the noise cancelling is perfect for public transport in terms of it blocks out a lot of bus/train noise but you are still able to hear what is going on around you. I've tried several brands and these are my favourite. Phone calls are also acceptable quality. I got mine from Amazon US for $79.99 USD quite a few months back now so this is a good price with discount. Recommended.

    • Which other brands and models did you try to which you compared these to?

      • QCY TC1 and Taotronics SoundLiberty 92

Both of these don't have ANC, the QCY were ok and got the job done but the Taotronics were awful, really unfomfortable and the voice quality was bad.
I haven't tried any of the more recent Taotronics, maybe some of them are getting better as time goes by.

Also check the review for the Edifier NB2, it gets a good pass.

  • Just got mine from the post office. Edifier app is good, music (from the few songs i have listened to sound good). NC mode is good in my view (room with a cat meowing and a fan going and it's drowned out pretty well). I have nothing to compare this to in regards to other earbuds - wife has a pair of Sony's which i assume are better but they are approx. 2-2.5x in price of this so expect them to be better.
