    One thing that would be really handy is a remote control to operate the functions once the unit is installed high out of arm reach…but they are of course what they are and they do work well, at least so far.

    Where is the solar panal…..is it built into the lid? If so, a shame as really needs to be seperate panal with long wire. This way one could place it where the sun shines and have the light under awning (no direct sunlight gets there)?

        Better Example. If I placed the light in a shed (no sun)………there is no method to charge (via sun) as the Solar panel is part of the unit rather that a seperate panal that can be placed outside the shed in direct sunlight and joins via a cable.

        All good and this imodel would not work for me as my loctions are all covered by Awnings.

            @Jackey Chen: Yes but not via Solar. Its a nice feature though. :-)

            Don't get me wrong, they look great and use 18650 batteries which are replaceable. Icing on the cake for me would me if the had seperate solar panal rather than it built into the light which is great if positioned in a sunny location.
            Not sure how the 18650 battery copes under summer afternoon in direct sun though. Its got to get fairly hot :-)
