Has a couple of other features including TPM and better than standard WLAN chip. Sadly res is still 1366x768 but looks like a reasonable deal for $699.

1366x768 in 15" is not bad. I compared side by side with full HD, and yes Full HD has sharper images and video is nicer but not by much.

      • that is really not the point

for people who run rdp or stuff that has scrolling (any real work), 768p is really not workable

        • Meaning this is more work laptop than home/multimedia?

i think the biggest issue is that it only has intel video

same money you can get something with discrete

Interestingly has serial port and RJ11, I didn't realise you could get anything with those any more

Apparently it has 5x USB 2.0 ports? that's quite a lot for a laptop?

    2.5kg lightweight?!

only if you look like Arno… LOL

  • was all workable until I got to "1366x768"

Also it says win32bit, hope that is a typo or the last 2GB goes unused.

    • Could be 32-bit, considering it only came with 2GB standard and has been upgraded since. The restore discs/partition might give the option of 64-bit though.
