In summary, curve fitting to historical data doesn't guarantee future returns.
Iām thinking of trying it out with like $10k for a couple of months and see how it goes. The Market Index subscription can be done monthly and the trade period is monthly. I could back out after one month and probably not lose too much, market Index will even refund the months fee if not satisfied.
I had a look at the last 6months returns and it is underperforming the ASX100 by more than 3%.
By that logic, when you look at subscription cost and trading fees, you're probably better of investing in an Index fund and adding additional contributions when you can.old thread but any one have any idea on how they did perform if you subscribed to?
there is new performance graph on their website based on last 6 month plus period … ! what everyone thinks?
if you want to invest in the stock market you better to have the knowledge than following some one's lead
most subscriptions and programs are just out to get your money, no one can be that good
and if they are that good they keep it to themselves and make a shit load of moneylook at the guys at Renaissance Technologies, they raked in billions profit each years and they keep it to themselves
they don't teach anyone, they keep it a secret from the world, they dont talk about it, they dont promote
all nice and quiet raking in billion after billions years after years from one decade to the next.
Don't waste your time and money.
Advertised 27.30% pa over 20 years is bullshit.
Basically what they did, they have come up with many trading algorithms, applied them retrospectively to see which one was performing the best on historical data to find the winner.
It's not like they've been operating for 20 years and have real investors making these returns.
Also trading every month like they suggest is very tax inefficient in Australia since you need to hold at least 1 year to get 50% discount on your capital gains.
