Camel3 suggests that this is the best price within recent history.

Granted it is expensive for some cookware but somebody may find the deal useful. I certainly don't buy Le Creuset at RRP.

Le Creuset enamelled cast-iron range are, with proper care, lifetime buys which you can hand down.

Description
Cast Iron's exceptional heat retention allows for slow cooking, locking in flavour and keeping foods moist and tender. The new Signature features, which include easy-grip, 45 percent larger handles, enhanced tight-fitting lid, toughened, easy-to-clean enamel interior and a stylish, heat-resistant stainless steel knob, combine the best of the kitchen classic with the latest innovations in comfort and functionality. Individually handcrafted in France since 1925, Le Creuset Cast Iron casseroles are protected by a Lifetime Warranty for your peace of mind. They can be used on all types of hob (induction and oven included). Size: 24 cm. Available in volcanic colour.

What a load of bull….. Much a do about nothing says the casserole.

Good price, only thing I'd suggest is that the 28cm is practical size for families and batch cooking.

    • Good price, only thing I'd suggest is that the 28cm is practical size ridiculous price is unsuitable for families and batch cooking.

      *fixed

      • Clearly you don't have one.

Gone through several aldi ones already.

        • Clearly…

  • Cast iron doesn’t cost that much does it? For a little dish?

    • What's with the price of the new mercedes? Cars don't cost that much do they?

    What a crock.

  • Bought one in France for EUR99…. :-)

    • and because of the weight landed price was $320 delivered ;-)

    Got one from aldi $24.99

    • Doubtful it was this brand

  • Ours has chipped. But it's pretty old. We had an Aldi one before that. I feel like the expensive ones aren't worth the extra money.

If purchased after 2000, they have a lifetime warranty (prior to then it was limited). If the chip is in the enamel, email them a photo and explanation and they'll likely send you out a replacement.

  • I bought a Staub when Myer had them on sale and compare to the Aldi ones the quality of make is worth the money, Aldi ones chipped at multiple places only 1 months into using while my Staub is as new. I say Le Creuset will be the same quality level as Staub and worth the extra money.

  • Still have one from this deal. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/58244 . It is really good.

  • Looks like a similar model (different colour) is still available for backorder for the same price:

Not quite the cheapest price ever according to camelx3 ($253.41 on May 22nd) but may be of interest
