        i didnt know if i wanted to grab yesterdays deal because i was eating HJ so much (tired of it)

      So you're saying some stores have fresh chips but others don't stock them?

      If you're concerned about freshness, how about:

      1) Ask for fresh cooked chips
      2) Wait until you see them tip a basket of fresh ones into the warmer before ordering

      The other option of course is to travel to one of the stores that does stock fresh chips, hope my suggestions were useful though.

        Lol you think some stores get deliveries that say "fresh chips" and the others get "average chips"?
        It depends on the time of day, if you get them during the lunch rush they'll most likely be a lot nicer than ordering a few hours after it where they haven't sold what they've cooked..

      Funny, because McDonald's hasn't given me anything worth going there for months.

      By using the survey small chips and drink + 50c small chips decent feed for $2.50. Maccas are nowhere near that value.

      What they should've done though is not made a limit of 1.

    I occasionally get $1 large fries from mymacca's. A similar deal would have been worth the effort of visiting HJ's. This 50c thing probably sounded good to the marketing department (for their 50 year birthday), but it's not going to get people in the door.
