  • How easy is it to replace the batteries in these and the Argus 3 Pro once the batteries start to die? Hopefully, they are easy to get to and replace?

If the Argus 3 Pro batteries are easy to replace after a few years of operation I'll be keen on a deal for that unit with solar panel bundle or the E1 Outdoor even more so as I'm after people detection as although I've enjoyed Reolink these camera's without smarts are close to useless to get notifications with as 99% of them are always fake so you end up never checking your phone anyway.. hoping your next generation of cameras will address this with people and vehicle detection and is what I plan to replace my current units with once ready…

    • Hello Jonc. The battery of Argus 3 Pro cannot be replaced separately. But please do not worry; if you encounter any issues with the camera in the future, you can feel free to contact our support team on the site and we will try our best to help around :)

About the false alarms, you could try to adjust the motion sensitivity and set up specific motion areas to optimize the motion detection.

      • Thank you for the reply and details… I might wait for your new E1 Outdoor as I like the higher resolution and really after person detection as a key requirement going forward from now I think..

I've played around a lot with the zoning and sensitivity but found I missed some events if too low and when zoning out you essentially can't use the PTZ feature as the camera never goes back to the same location (also saved PTZ locations seems to have been removed from some of the newer software/firmware for some reasons as it's how I use to use zoning a little better but it's of little use now with those changes unfortunately for my needs…)

Really looking forward to your new generation of camera's and hope to look into your 4K or 8K POE solutions with people detection going forward

        • +1
